I grew up in Sammamish, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. I graduated from Linfield College, a small liberal arts school in Oregon, in 2012 with a B.S. in Sociology and a B.S. in Mathematics. Upon graduation, I left the Pacific Northwest to pursue my Ph.D. in Sociology with a focus on social network analysis at the University of California, Irvine. While at Irvine, I earned an M.S. in Statistics in addition to my Ph.D. In 2018 I joined Peter Mucha’s group in the Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
